Senior AI Developer, Technology Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and develop methods to enhance workloads in deep learning, machine learning, or other AI sectors using GPU acceleration.

• Collaborate with technical experts from both industry and academia to evaluate and refine complex AI and HPC algorithms on contemporary CPU and GPU architectures.

• Publish and/or showcase optimization strategies through developer blogs or at pertinent conferences.

• Impact the design of future hardware architectures, software solutions, and programming methodologies.

• Work in conjunction with research, hardware, system software, libraries, and tools teams at NVIDIA.

• Engage with and educate the developer community.

⛳️ Requirements

• A master's or doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related computationally focused scientific discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

• Over 8 years of pertinent experience in software development or research.

• Proficient programming skills in C/C++, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of algorithms and software development.

• Experience in parallel programming, such as CUDA, OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, pthreads, etc.

• Practical experience in performing low-level performance optimizations.

• Extensive knowledge of CPU and GPU architecture fundamentals.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities, employing a logical approach to problem-solving, effective time management, and prioritization skills.

• Proficiency in parallelization and performance enhancement of Deep Learning models related to Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Recommender Systems, etc. (attributes that enhance candidacy).

• Solid understanding of linear algebra (attributes that enhance candidacy).
