This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Produce high-quality residential appraisal reports.
• Oversee all elements of scheduling, exception management, system updates, submissions, and Quality Control for your assignments.
• Conduct appraisals for residential appraisal products and/or desktop appraisals for both lending and non-lending purposes.
• Comply with all relevant State and Federal regulations, including the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act (FIRREA Title XI), Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Federal Housing Authority, U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Fair Housing Act, and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, as well as their respective guidelines and manuals for creating, reporting, and delivering appraisals.
• Actively communicate status updates for all assignments to guarantee exceptional customer service while providing the industry's best turnaround times and the highest appraisal quality standards.
• Provide exceptional levels of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, homeowners, and/or points of contact.
• Apply existing procedures to address straightforward issues without a consistent need for discretionary judgment.
• Utilize basic communication skills to engage with internal and/or external clients and/or team members. This role operates as an individual contributor under direct supervision with limited autonomy. Works under general oversight with restricted ability to adjust methods; individual contributor without supervisory duties; manages personal workload.
• Identify and resolve common issues; chooses solutions from established alternatives.
• Execute all additional tasks as directed by management.
• High school diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of a state-certified residential appraisal license or higher, with at least three years of residential appraisal field experience.
• 0-4 years of relevant work experience.
