Staff Accountant II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Compile event flash reports (P&L’s) by collaborating with the operations team to collect and evaluate necessary documentation.

• Supervise accounting support personnel (mainly Staff Accountants I-III).

• Conduct reconciliation of event P&Ls (specifically, hard booking Event P&L’s).

• Oversee accounting for each venue's revenue and expense accounts.

• Assist Accountants and Managers with account reconciliations and other ad hoc requests.

• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and conduct research to ensure precision.

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries.

• Align Sales system data with the General Ledger.

• Ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and company policies/procedures, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

• Maintain, control, and reconcile accounts of moderate to high complexity.

• Generate daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports and schedules.

• Review and oversee the P-Card process and transactions.

• Support special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA is preferred.

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

• Experience with Oracle is a plus.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
