Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing commissions accounting functions—approximately 50% of the position—by calculating, documenting, and reconciling sales commissions in line with company policy.

• Collaborate with the General Ledger (G&L) team to facilitate month-end and quarter-end closing processes, which includes preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Oversee systems and data integration across accounting platforms, ensuring that data flows correctly between systems and supporting ongoing automation initiatives.

• Prepare and evaluate balance sheet reconciliations, promptly investigating and resolving discrepancies.

• Aid in internal and external audit requests by gathering necessary documentation and schedules.

• Recognize and implement process enhancements that reinforce internal controls and boost efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to US GAAP and CloudBees accounting policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger and month-end closing activities.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and fundamental accounting operations.

• Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in supporting systems and data integration between financial applications.

• Familiarity with commissions accounting or sales compensation is preferred.
