Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Record, verify, and maintain financial transactions.

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly closing process.

• Monthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

• Investigate and resolve any accounting discrepancies.

• Process vendor invoices, secure necessary approvals, and manage payments.

• Keep accurate vendor records and supporting documentation.

• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.

• Prepare supporting schedules and conduct account analyses.

• Provide assistance with financial reporting and management inquiries.

• Prepare documentation for both internal and external audits.

• Support interim and annual audit activities.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and U.S. GAAP.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate accounting records.

• Participate in special accounting and finance projects as needed.

• Cross-train with colleagues and provide backup support when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Prior experience in accounting.

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct.

• Understanding of GAAP and accounting methodologies.

• Experience with ERP and accounting software systems.

• Knowledge of tools like Ramp, HubSpot, or similar platforms is advantageous.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
