Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for the organization.

• This position manages assigned general ledger accounts, overseeing everything from transaction processing to reconciliation and analysis, supporting monthly close activities, and collaborating with internal teams to guarantee appropriate accounting practices within a dynamic advertising agency environment.

• The Staff Accountant acts as the main accounting resource for payroll transactions, incentive compensation accounting, treasury functions, and certain compliance duties.

• This role will spearhead the implementation of a scalable commission and incentive management system and will assist in ongoing process enhancements that aim to boost automation, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the Finance department.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of four years of accounting experience is required.

• Must demonstrate integrity, especially in situations where oversight is minimal, and possess a high level of ethics and character.

• Self-motivated individual.

• Must be highly detail-oriented and capable of multitasking to adhere to deadlines.

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities are essential.

• Should possess the adaptability and willingness to grasp the evolving informational needs of the business.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) and PowerPoint.

• Experience with NetSuite and Concur is preferred.
