This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily cash operations: track bank accounts, document transactions, and ensure precise cash position reporting.
• Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheets, and general ledgers (GL); investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
• Create journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.
• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Manage and oversee ACH payments, wire transfers, and positive pay; nurture banking relationships.
• Aid in internal and external audits by supplying documentation and upholding accurate accounting records.
• Track financial activities to detect anomalies or risks, and suggest corrective measures and process enhancements.
• Work collaboratively across departments to bolster accounting, treasury, and operational efforts.
• Take ownership of assigned accounts and responsibilities; proactively handle deadlines and update leadership on progress.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance accounting and treasury procedures via automation, standardization, and improved controls.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses, reports, and schedules to assist management in decision-making.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive financial information and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide support for accounting and treasury functions as needed; engage in special projects when required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (degree requirement may be waived for candidates with 5+ years of relevant hands-on accounting experience).
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or treasury.
• Practical experience with ERP/accounting software such as NetSuite AND QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with processing ACH payments, wire transfers, and other treasury transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Experience in a multi-entity, manufacturing, or high-volume transaction environment is preferred.
