Accountant, US Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• **📌 What You’ll Do:**

• - Maintain and prepare precise financial records in compliance with U.S. GAAP. 📘

• - Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and reporting. 💳

• - Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 📊

• - Oversee and submit U.S. tax forms (e.g., federal and state returns, 1099s, etc.). 🧾

• - Ensure adherence to U.S. tax laws and regulations. 🇺🇸

• - Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online or equivalent) for bookkeeping and reporting. 💻

• - Support audits by providing necessary documentation as required. 🔍

• - Examine financial data and offer insights to aid business decisions. 📈

• - Interact with clients or internal stakeholders regarding financial topics. 📞

• ✅ **Our Ideal Candidate:**

• - Demonstrated experience as an Accountant with U.S.-based companies.

• - In-depth knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and compliance requirements. 🧾

• - Expertise in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software. 💻📊

• - Strong grasp of accounting principles (GAAP). 📘

• - Experience in preparing and filing U.S. tax returns and reports. 📄

• - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. 🧠

• - Outstanding communication skills in English (C1 level or higher) and Spanish (both written and spoken). 🌐

• - Keen attention to detail and accuracy. 🎯

• - A reliable laptop (2017 or newer) and a stable internet connection. 💻📶
