SQA Engineer – Manual, Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Create and maintain documentation for test cases and testing plans.

• Conduct and record risk assessments.

• Establish standards and procedures to evaluate product quality and readiness for release.

• Execute both manual and automated testing.

• Track and document progress and outcomes of testing activities.

• Identify, isolate, and monitor bugs during the testing phase.

• Detect and document software defects.

• Promote innovation and optimize overall testing methodologies.

• Investigate and analyze the features of the product being tested.

• Assess user interfaces for consistency and functionality.

• Explore and assess new tools, technologies, and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance, emphasizing both manual and automated testing, including the development of automated test scripts.

• Proficient in C#, Python, HTML, and JavaScript, along with testing frameworks such as MSTest and Boost.Test.

• Preference for familiarity with .NET MAUI, ASP.NET WebForms/MVC, and Azure DevOps.

• Preferred experience with both SaaS and on-premises software solutions.

• Experience with automation tools like Selenium and/or Playwright is advantageous.

• Background in load testing and performance testing using tools such as JMeter, K6, or similar is beneficial.

• Skilled in both manual and automated testing for desktop and web applications; mobile testing experience is a plus.

• Capability to create an automation framework from the ground up.
