Sportsbook Trader, Live

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee all betting activities and pricing across various sports 24/7, adhering to company KPIs.

• Track bet flow, betting lines, industry shifts, expected value, betting trends, and market liabilities in real-time.

• Quickly assess markets to ensure rapid and efficient cash flow.

• Collaborate with trading teams to provide a profitable and competitive offering for every sporting event.

• Engage with customer-facing teams to enhance patron satisfaction and escalate issues for prompt resolution.

• Utilize internal tools to evaluate individual bets and patron value, aiming to increase the trading hold percentage.

• Ensure that trading products and processes comply with regulations.

• Adapt to changes in providers, processes, and market trends effectively.

• Provide daily reports to key business stakeholders.

• Generate and execute reports using SQL, Python, Looker, Mode, and Tableau.

• Monitor and report on customer lifetime profitability.

• Test internal trading tools and daily-use features.

• Suggest new features and guide them from concept to delivery in collaboration with the product team.

• Monitor multi-accounting and syndicate activity through retrospective pattern analysis.

• Utilize customer risk data and internal tools to prioritize and triage accounts for review.

• Contribute to scalable customer risk frameworks and commercially driven decision-making processes.

• Report on the commercial impact of customer risk decisions, including GGR uplift and trends in sharp customer volume.

• Perform other necessary duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Passionate about sports with a comprehensive understanding of sports betting and a genuine interest in betting and odds.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• At least 1 year of experience in a trading environment (preferred, but not mandatory).

• Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Sciences.

• Excellent mathematical abilities.

• Capacity to multitask and perform efficiently under pressure.

• Comfortable in a dynamic environment and capable of making swift, informed decisions.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Outstanding time-management capabilities.

• Quick learner with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

• Adaptable to new technology and processes.

• Strong initiative with an exceptional work ethic.

• Capable of working remotely.

• Available to work regular evenings and weekends, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
