Sportsbook Risk Trader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the ticker for significant activity and escalate as necessary.

• Execute Retrospective Risk reports and update the CRS with detailed patron annotations.

• Address grading/settlement issues, over ask situations, and customer support inquiries.

• Provide assistance with ad-hoc assignments across various teams.

• Guide Associate Traders by offering clear advice on optimal risk practices.

• Regulate bet limits and market constraints based on customer type or segment.

• Evaluate player-level profitability and behavior patterns.

• Modify limits, voids, or restrictions based on real-time analytics.

• Work in conjunction with the Fraud and Trading teams to identify suspicious activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Passionate about sports with a solid, comprehensive understanding of sports betting and a genuine interest in betting and odds.

• Strong analytical skills along with problem-solving capabilities.

• At least 1+ years of experience in a trading setting (preferred but not mandatory).

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Sciences.

• Data-driven with outstanding mathematical proficiency.

• Remarkable analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capable of multitasking and performing efficiently under pressure.

• Comfortable in a dynamic environment and able to make swift, informed decisions.

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

• Excellent time management abilities.

• Quick learner who can work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a team.

• Adaptable to new technologies and quick to embrace change.

• Proactive with a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work remotely.
