This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Deliver virtual speech therapy sessions that are centered around students and aligned with IEP requirements.
• Perform thorough speech-language assessments utilizing Parallel’s exclusive Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, monitor, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.
• Engage in IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for students designated as “Speech Only” as needed.
• Methodically track session metrics and student advancement to provide valuable consultations regarding IEPs.
• Create comprehensive, goal-focused progress reports for each reporting cycle.
• Offer specialized services tailored to state requirements, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and supervision of SLPA.
• Possession of the current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• An active SLP license in Kansas.
• At least 1 year of full-time experience in a school setting conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY), with a preference for 2+ years for case management roles.
• Proven expertise in the IEP process, educational eligibility assessments, and developing comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Prior experience with Medicaid billing systems is considered highly beneficial.
• Outstanding communication skills with an ability to build rapport with students from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Technologically adept with a proficiency in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems.
• Availability during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).
• Multilingual proficiency is viewed as a significant advantage.
