Speech Language Pathologist, Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills.

• Create personalized therapy plans and objectives based on evaluation outcomes and individual student requirements.

• Deliver direct therapy services to students, focusing on areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to enhance students' communication objectives within the classroom and other educational environments.

• Utilize evidence-based methods and therapeutic activities during sessions to foster speech and language advancement.

• Track students' progress and modify therapy plans as necessary to ensure the best possible results.

• Accurately and promptly document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other pertinent information.

• Engage in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute insights regarding students' speech and language requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

• PA Teacher's Speech Certification.

• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

• Experience in delivering speech-language therapy services within a school or pediatric environment.

• Proficient in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques typically employed in pediatric speech-language pathology.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.

• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).

• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technologies utilized in speech-language therapy (preferred).
