Speech Language Pathologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform developmental assessments and deliver speech therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).

• Adhere to each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) while collaborating with families to devise strategies that enable each child to achieve their specific developmental milestones.

• Employ a family-centered parent coaching methodology to enhance caregivers' confidence and skills, ensuring that progress is effectively generalized.

• Offer services in the child's natural surroundings, including homes, daycare centers, and other community venues; virtual services are also currently offered.

• Conduct re-assessments and prepare progress reports, typically on a bi-annual basis.

• Safeguard the confidentiality of information pertaining to children and families in line with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a California Speech Language Pathology license.

• Pediatric experience is necessary (Early Intervention experience is preferred).

• Experience in home-based service delivery is preferred.

• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills are required.

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
