Speech Language Pathologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual speech therapy to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy's online public schools.

• Engage with students through webcams and web conferencing platforms.

• Oversee caseload management utilizing the company's online Education Management System.

• Design and execute individual and group therapy sessions in a virtual setting.

• Foster positive working relationships with the LiveSpeech team and educational institutions.

• Perform screenings and assess students' communication requirements.

• Maintain regular communication with parents/learning coaches and school personnel regarding IEP objectives.

• Schedule, organize, and facilitate IEP-related meetings in a virtual format as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.

• Must possess active and valid state and/or Department of Education Licensure in Speech Pathology applicable in the state of residence.

• Capability to acquire and sustain multiple required state certifications and clearances as assigned.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a K-12 school environment.

• Strong technological proficiency.

• High level of adaptability and ability to work independently.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Must be proficient with a personal electronic device and have an email address for two-step authentication.
