This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop technical documents for door and hardware specifications.

• Serve as a reliable resource for design professionals regarding door opening applications.

• Design, engineer, and produce specifications for doors and hardware used in commercial buildings.

• Suggest door and hardware solutions that align with design needs.

• Design electrified access control products and software systems tailored for door openings.

• Work in collaboration with Architectural Consultants to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Support project submittal reviews and the approval processes for substitutions.

• Use Salesforce.com for efficient project tracking and time management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree from a college or university is preferred in architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in openings, such as a commercial locksmith, door frames/hardware installer, contractor’s license for installation, or CHD project manager within school, healthcare, or institutional settings.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

• Experience in utilizing and maintaining CRM tools for sales and activity tracking.

• Familiarity with industry-related software is advantageous.
