This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Implement AbbVie’s brand strategy and sales initiatives in the field.
• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections and ensure action items are secured during sales interactions.
• Attend to customer needs and cultivate trusted relationships with them.
• Create and execute call plans to maximize coverage and sales potential.
• Gain expertise in market dynamics, competitors, disease states, products, clinical information, and sales.
• Disseminate market intelligence to field, brand, and sales teams.
• Clearly communicate AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Travel within the territory and participate in scheduled training events and sales meetings.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in the industry.
• A minimum of five years of relevant and comparable industry experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Preferred: Three or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical, health, or scientific sector.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Demonstrated history of sales achievement.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Knowledgeable in scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive areas.
• Solid business acumen and proficiency with business tools.
• Strong capabilities in strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrixed environment.
• Foster collaborative partnerships with district and matrix teams.
• Documented success in leadership or supportive roles with increased responsibility.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Capability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel adequately to cover the territory, including overnight training and sales meetings.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible for them.
• May be required to undergo background checks, drug screenings, provide immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, and satisfy state or city-specific licensing criteria.
