This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Implement brand strategies and field tactics for designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections and consistently secure logical calls to action to finalize sales conversations.
• Attend to customer needs and foster trusted relationships with clients.
• Create and implement call plans that optimize coverage and frequency for key accounts.
• Gain insight into customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales expertise.
• Disseminate market intelligence with in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Highlight AbbVie’s value proposition to assigned healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Collaborate with district colleagues and matrix teams.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, including three or more years preferred in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector.
• High school diploma/GED is required when substituting experience for a bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated success in sales is essential.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
• Ability to meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or eligibility for credentials.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and proficient in the use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving criteria.
• Capable of operating a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
