This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field to drive sales performance.
• Manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts effectively.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and enhance the capability to address customer needs.
• Optimize both short-term and long-term sales performance with a patient-centric approach.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Develop pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations to enhance sales outcomes continuously.
• Skillfully manage objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, consistently leading to logical and actionable outcomes to finalize every sales call.
• Continuously strive to meet customer needs and expectations, fostering trusted relationships to secure mutually beneficial agreements between AbbVie and customers.
• Formulate and implement a call plan that meets established call metrics and maximizes coverage and frequency with key customers to enhance access and sales opportunities.
• Continuously deepen understanding of customer needs, market landscape, competitors, market dynamics, accounts, disease, product knowledge, clinical expertise, and sales strategies, sharing this intelligence with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager.
• A Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
• If not holding a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience is required, including three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• Demonstrated track record of leadership success along with strong presentation skills.
• Solid business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Proactively assesses customer behaviors/styles and swiftly adapts all aspects of the selling approach accordingly.
• Functions effectively within a matrix environment.
• Preferred: Proven success in sales performance within the relevant therapeutic areas.
• Preferred: Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Preferred: In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert resource by relevant stakeholders.
• Preferred: Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
