This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field, drive sales performance, and efficiently manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts.
• Establish strong customer relationships and enhance problem-solving capabilities to optimize both short-term and long-term sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives, aiming to meet or exceed these targets.
• Develop pre-call planning objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to consistently enhance sales performance.
• Skillfully address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while consistently securing logical and reasonable calls to action to close every sales call.
• Proactively strive to meet customer needs, manage expectations, and tackle challenges to cultivate trusted customer relationships.
• Create and implement a call plan that meets defined call metrics while optimizing coverage and frequency to key customers to enhance access and sales opportunities.
• Continuously deepen understanding of customer needs and expectations, territory market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, product details, and clinical and sales expertise.
• Disseminate this market intelligence to the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to ensure alignment and prepare for environmental shifts and challenges.
• Enhance brand strategy and its execution.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• At least five (5) years of relevant industry experience is required in the absence of a bachelor’s degree, including three (3) or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science sector, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• A demonstrated history of leadership success coupled with excellent presentation skills.
• Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools are essential.
• Must possess strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Proactively assess customer styles and behaviors, adapting all aspects of the selling approach accordingly.
• Ability to operate effectively within a matrix environment.
• Preferred: A proven history of success in sales performance within relevant therapeutic areas.
• Preferred: Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Preferred: In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.
• Preferred: Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
