Registered Dietitian – Health Coach

📋 Description

• The Registered Dietitian/Health Coach employs a collaborative framework of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

• Engage, educate, and motivate members in making decisions that support achieving and sustaining optimal health.

• Conduct a thorough evaluation of each member's health status and risks using clinical tools and data analysis.

• Develop a personalized care plan based on the member’s health conditions, risks, educational needs, and support requirements.

• Employ motivational interviewing techniques to maximize member engagement.

• Offer coaching and support to enable members to consistently make independent, healthy lifestyle choices.

• Create and oversee the implementation of care plans to align with the member’s objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Certified Diabetic Educator Registered Dietitian with an active license.

• A minimum of 3 years of coaching experience is required.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related discipline (such as Dietetics, Health Education, Wellness, or Health Promotion) is necessary.

• Experience in wellness-focused areas including diabetes management, weight control, stress management, nutrition, physical activity, or behavioral health change is essential.

• Proven ability to effectively communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with individuals, exercising sound judgment in challenging circumstances.
