This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

šŸ“‹ Description

• Implement brand strategy and tactics in the field to enhance both short-term and long-term sales performance.

• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Establish robust customer relationships and address customer needs effectively.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.

• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments to boost sales performance.

• Manage objections and secure appropriate calls to action during sales interactions.

• Attend to customer requirements and cultivate trusted relationships to reach mutually beneficial agreements.

• Create and implement call plans to fulfill metrics and enhance customer coverage and frequency.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market dynamics, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales methodologies.

• Disseminate market intelligence among field, brand, and sales teams.

• Highlight AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers and cultivate disease-state experts and advocates.


ā›³ļø Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant and equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

• Preferred three (3) or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry.

• High school diploma/GED is mandatory.

• Extensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.

• Strong business acumen with proficient use of business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Demonstrated sales success and strong presentation abilities.

• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.

• Skill in identifying customer styles and adapting sales strategies accordingly.

• Proven track record of success in leadership or support roles with increasing responsibility.

• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Must fulfill applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain them.

• Valid driver’s license is essential.

• Capable of passing a pre-employment drug screening test and meeting safe driving standards.

• Must be able to operate a personal auto, company vehicle, or powered material-handling equipment.
