This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field to enhance sales performance.
• Efficiently manage the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate robust customer relationships and develop solutions to meet customer needs, maximizing both short and long-term sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance goals, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing aims.
• Develop pre-call objectives and conduct post-call evaluations.
• Address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns effectively.
• Strive to meet customer needs, expectations, and challenges.
• Create and execute a call plan that meets established call metrics.
• Continuously enhance understanding of customer needs, market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, product knowledge, clinical insights, and sales expertise.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to the assigned health providers and identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease state experts and advocates.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience is required in place of a bachelor’s degree.
• Preferably, three (3) or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Proven history of leadership success and strong presentation abilities.
• Excellent business acumen and proficient in using business tools.
• Possess strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Proactively recognizes customer styles and behaviors, adapting quickly.
• Effectively operates within a matrix environment.
• Preferred: A demonstrated record of success in sales performance within relevant therapeutic areas.
• Preferred: Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Preferred: In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.
• Preferred: Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
