Principal Trainer, Epic Clin Doc, Bugsy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct instructor-led Epic training sessions for end users, super users, and clinical personnel.

• Facilitate in-person classroom training throughout the 8-week intensive training course.

• Assist in the development of training materials, including curriculum updates, job aids, and tip sheets.

• Support Training, Design, Development, and Requirements (TDR) initiatives.

• Convert clinical workflows into clear, organized training content for end users.

• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and project teams to ensure training is aligned with system builds and workflows.

• Aid in the readiness and validation of the training environment.

• Engage in go-live preparations, activation support, and stabilization efforts.

• Provide at-the-elbow support during training and the post-go-live phase as required.

• Administer learner assessments and validate competency.

• Keep training documentation accurate and current in accordance with system modifications.

• Encourage strong end-user adoption of Epic ClinDoc and Bugsy workflows through effective facilitation and adult learning methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Epic ClinDoc Certification.

• Epic Bugsy Certification.

• Epic Principal Trainer credential (or the ability to obtain it upon hiring).

• Demonstrated experience in delivering classroom-based Epic training within a healthcare setting.

• Comprehensive knowledge of inpatient clinical workflows and documentation procedures.

• Experience in supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects.

• Capability to develop and revise training materials, including job aids and tip sheets.

• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication abilities.

• Willingness to work on-site during extended training and activation phases.

• Experience with multiple Epic applications and integrated workflows.
