This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics effectively in the field to drive sales performance.
• Manage assigned territory and targeted accounts efficiently.
• Establish strong customer relationships and enhance the capability to address customer needs to optimize both short and long-term sales performance.
• Center patient care in all efforts, adhering to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and all relevant laws and regulations.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed set targets.
• Develop pre-call planning objectives and conduct post-call evaluations for ongoing sales performance improvement.
• Skillfully manage objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while consistently securing logical and actionable calls to close every sales interaction.
• Continuously strive to meet customer needs, expectations, and challenges to foster trusted relationships and create mutually beneficial agreements between AbbVie and clients.
• Formulate and implement a call plan that meets established call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency with key customers to enhance access and sales opportunities.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of customer needs and expectations, market dynamics, competitors, accounts, disease areas, products, and clinical expertise, sharing this market intelligence with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience is required, with three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred, and a high school diploma/GED is mandatory.
• Demonstrates comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert by all relevant stakeholders.
• Possesses strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools, showcasing strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Proactively identifies customer styles and behaviors, adapting the selling approach accordingly.
• Understands and uses insights to formulate effective sales strategies.
• Proven history of successful selling and effective presentation skills.
• Functions efficiently in a matrix environment.
• Proposes innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities and address challenges.
• Contributes impactful ideas to the larger organization and anticipates and responds to changes.
• Influences peers and is regarded as a credible and respected role model among colleagues.
• Fosters collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and the matrix team.
• Leads by example, consistently displaying positive behaviors and offering peer coaching in dynamic and challenging environments.
• Documented success in leadership and support roles with increased responsibilities at district, regional, and/or organizational levels.
• Preferred: A proven track record of success in sales performance within relevant therapeutic areas.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing is preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing (for all non-English speaking countries).
