This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field, manage sales performance, and effectively oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts.
• Foster strong customer relationships and enhance problem-solving capabilities to optimize both short-term and long-term sales outcomes.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives to meet or surpass established targets.
• Develop a pre-call plan utilizing SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to continually enhance sales performance.
• Skillfully address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while consistently securing logical and reasonable calls to action to successfully close every sales call.
• Proactively strive to meet customer needs, expectations, and challenges to establish trusted relationships and create mutually beneficial agreements between AbbVie and its clients.
• Design and implement a call plan that fulfills set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency with key customers.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred.
• Relevant industry experience of at least five (5) years is required in lieu of a bachelor's degree, including three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• Proactively recognizes customer styles/behaviors and swiftly adjusts all aspects of the selling approach accordingly.
• A demonstrated history of success in sales and strong presentation skills.
• Proposes innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities and overcome challenges.
• Understands and utilizes findings to formulate effective sales strategies.
• Exhibits comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools, demonstrating strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
• Functions effectively within a matrix environment.
• Holds a valid driver’s license and is able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test while meeting safe driving standards.
