This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field, manage sales performance, and effectively oversee assigned territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate robust customer relationships and develop capabilities to address customer needs, ensuring the patient remains at the forefront of all efforts to enhance both short and long-term sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing goals to meet or surpass established objectives.
• Formulate a pre-call plan utilizing SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to continuously enhance sales effectiveness.
• Skillfully address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while consistently securing logical and reasonable calls to action to close every sales interaction.
• Take a proactive approach to serve customer needs, expectations, and challenges, fostering trusted customer relationships and securing mutually beneficial agreements between AbbVie and its customers.
• Design and implement a call plan that meets established call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers, maximizing access and sales opportunities.
• Continuously enhance understanding of customer needs and expectations, the market landscape, competitors, market dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical, and sales expertise, sharing this market intelligence with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to ensure alignment.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned health providers and identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and advocates to optimize brand performance.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred.
• Relevant industry experience is required, with at least five (5) years of experience, including three (3) or more years within the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry; a high school diploma/GED is mandatory.
• Proactively identifies customer styles and behaviors, adapting all aspects of the selling approach accordingly.
• Provides innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities and address challenges effectively.
• Understands and utilizes insights to formulate sales strategies.
• Exhibits comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.
• Demonstrates strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Functions effectively within a matrix environment.
• Contributes impactful ideas for the larger organization, anticipating and responding to changes dynamically.
• Influences others and is regarded as a credible and respected role model and resource among peers.
• Fosters collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and matrix teams.
• Leads by example, consistently displaying positive behavior and peer coaching in challenging environments.
• Valid driver’s license is required; must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
• Proven success in leadership and support roles with increased responsibilities at the district, regional, or organizational levels.
