Specialty Pharmacy Program Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver clear and precise patient status updates from the system and/or through collaboration with other team members to designated manufacturers.

• Work in conjunction with internal SPP teams or colleagues to accelerate patient processing as required.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve complex reimbursement issues and escalated cases.

• Act as the primary contact for manufacturer field representatives, medical offices, and/or patients regarding all assigned orders.

• Alongside the Program Manager, conduct weekly (or as necessary) calls with the manufacturer.

• Execute manufacturer-specific enhanced services such as specialized welcome calls or scheduled patient calls as directed by the Program Manager/Therapy Team Manager.

• Collaborate with the program manager to identify patients at risk of delays in initial or refill shipments and devise strategies to expedite or escalate situations to management when necessary.

• Participate in scheduled meetings with manufacturers, program managers, and therapy teams.

• Prepare and/or review internal reports for the assigned therapy and manufacturer upon request.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required, alongside a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in specialty pharmacy.

• Alternatively, 8+ years of directly related experience will be accepted in place of a degree.

• Experience in manufacturer environments and/or with manufacturer account representatives is necessary.

• Strong preference for candidates who can collaborate effectively with a diverse customer base, including medical office staff and patients.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
