Specialty Operation Pharmacy Tech 2 – Pharm Ops

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist Pharmacists in the preparation of Specialty Rx medications by dispensing Specialty Rx medications.

• Execute moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support tasks.

• Conduct calculations as needed.

• Manage inbound phone calls from patients and healthcare providers.

• Input prescription orders into the system accurately.

• Aid Pharmacists and patients by ensuring compliance with Specialty Rx operational processes and programs.

• Communicate effectively with both patients and providers.

• Recognize work expectations and quality standards within established parameters.

• Prioritize and manage assignments with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence: Ohio, Arizona, or Florida.

• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or via ExCPT.

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or experience in a call center environment related to pharmacy.

• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to anticipate the needs of members/customers.

• Capability to take initiative, ask pertinent questions, and provide an exceptional customer experience.

• Problem-solving abilities to devise effective solutions when optimal tools and resources are not available.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Moderate familiarity with Excel.

• Preferred knowledge of RxNova, CRM, and/or ScriptMed.

• Experience in using multiple computer applications simultaneously and possessing strong data entry skills is preferred.

• Minimum internet speed requirement of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
