This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Assist Operations Managers with the administration and oversight of collection or post-collection service agreements.
• Oversee assigned operational datasets and metrics for reimbursement and compliance monitoring.
• Create, maintain, and enhance spreadsheets, databases, dashboards, and tracking tools.
• Identify discrepancies in data, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies in processes, and initiate improvements.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports for leadership, government partners, and external stakeholders.
• Aid in research and analysis concerning recycling systems, cost benchmarking, and operational performance.
• Assist with invoice review and validation against contract terms.
• Keep operational compliance records and documentation necessary for reporting, invoicing, and audits.
• Maintain templates, guidance documents, and process documentation.
• Uphold internal controls and standards for data governance.
• Coordinate operational tasks among teams and external partners for Colorado's EPR program.
• Act as a point of contact for operational processes or reporting requirements.
• Track and summarize performance metrics to support the increase in tons processed.
• Collaborate with legal, accounting, procurement, and data teams.
• Prepare materials for meetings with local governments, service providers, and regulators.
• Convey technical and data-driven information effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
• 3–5 years of pertinent experience in operations, data analysis, compliance, government, consulting, or sustainability-related fields.
• Proven experience in building, maintaining, or enhancing data tracking or reporting systems.
• A valid Driver's License is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and documentation quality.
• Capability to manage assigned workstreams independently.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply operational contract requirements to data and reporting workflows.
• Comfort in navigating evolving or ambiguous regulatory environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience with data visualization, GIS, Power BI, or similar tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools for enhancing analytical or operational efficiency.
• Advanced coursework or a graduate degree in environmental science, policy, geography, data analytics, or a related field is preferred.
• Fully remote work within Colorado at the outset.
