This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Spearhead the creation and execution of data-driven product strategies and roadmaps that enhance the company's product offerings across various market segments while aligning with corporate goals and establishing market differentiation.
• Cultivate consensus, implement, and oversee best practices for product development, ensuring solutions are perceived as innovative, user-focused, and grounded in quantifiable market insights.
• Apply change management principles relevant to product rollouts, encompassing communication planning, stakeholder alignment, and impact assessments.
• Manage the product portfolio and formulate product roadmaps to guarantee alignment with strategic priorities, resource distribution, and return on investment (ROI).
• Act as a vital point of coordination, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to guide ideation, validation, launch, refinement, and discontinuation processes.
• Ensure prompt and high-caliber go-to-market execution by providing standard tools and practices for successful adoption and implementation.
• Perform formal and informal market research and competitive analysis to uncover trends and shape product strategy decisions.
• Remain updated on industry, marketplace, and legal developments and their implications for the business.
• Convert current and emerging market demands into product expansions, enhancements, or new product concepts/business cases.
• Champion the customer's voice throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead and/or guide stakeholder feedback sessions and assist in synthesizing insights for market-informed product initiatives.
• Create product roadmaps based on the product vision and market research findings.
• Foster cross-functional understanding and support for product governance frameworks to ensure compliance with processes, decision quality, and repeatability.
• Collaborate with managers responsible for products, projects, and solutions to secure the necessary resources for success.
• Define, monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success and impact of product strategies.
• Maintain ongoing communication and awareness throughout the organization as a central hub for the successful execution of key tactics supporting the strategy.
• Serve as the main point of contact for resolving project/product resource constraints and significant program issues.
• Plan and implement product launches and go-to-market strategies, including pricing models, bundling, messaging, and positioning strategies.
• Ensure effective market launch of the product that meets the needs of the target audience.
• Provide clear recommendations backed by structured problem-solving, financial reasoning, and trade-off analyses (such as build vs. buy), presented through executive-level presentations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.
• An MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, strategy, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in indirect influence, coaching, mentoring, and/or management is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in health plans, PBM, pharmaceuticals, TPA, health tech, healthcare delivery, or the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Required experience and expertise in new product development, end-to-end product lifecycle management, project management, marketing, sales, and/or strategic planning.
• A proven record of tangible success, including leadership, collaboration, relationship-building, and management in a healthcare or related environment is required.
• Preferred experience in strategy consulting (professional services or internal strategy), product development, private equity, banking, corporate finance, corporate strategy, or equivalent roles.
• Familiarity with digital product development methodologies (Agile, iterative delivery, roadmap planning), even if not serving as a technical product owner, is preferred.
• Required experience in engaging with and communicating across multiple organizational levels, including executive levels.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, proactively identify issues, frame options, adapt or pivot as necessary, and recommend actionable paths forward is required.
