This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as a consultant for stakeholders in veterinary practices, creating customized in-house diagnostic solutions utilizing Vetscan products.
• Market and sell Vetscan instruments to veterinary practices, research institutions, and governmental organizations within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with territory managers, diagnostic account managers, and strategic account managers to generate leads and secure new business opportunities.
• Provide a seamless and professional experience throughout the pre-sale and sales processes.
• Employ strategic thought and market trend analysis to boost sales of diagnostic equipment in high-revenue accounts.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals.
• Acquire and retain customers, enhance Vetscan analyzer placements, and increase the usage of consumables.
• Manage the opportunity pipeline from prospect to customer and ensure effective lead conversion.
• Negotiate and customize commercial agreements based on customer requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, pricing, competition, and market trends.
• Foster long-term partnerships with key customers.
• Renew and modify existing Zoetis Diagnostics contracts.
• Conduct regular business reviews and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate across Diagnostics and other business units, including companion animal, livestock, technical support, and veterinary services.
• Process new contracts and ensure timely and accurate customer onboarding and compliance.
• Bachelor's Degree required; a scientific or business discipline is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• A sales background is essential.
• Experience in B2B sales within a corporate environment, including diagnostics, marketing, medical devices, capital equipment sales, or contractual sales is required.
• A background in veterinary, nursing, laboratory, and/or medical fields is preferred.
• Action-oriented with a strategic and growth mindset, demonstrating a passion for excellence.
• Outstanding presentation and conversational skills.
• Exceptional negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen and financial analysis capabilities, including effective expense and budget management.
• Solid medical understanding.
• Ability to perform well under tight deadlines to achieve targets.
• Bilingualism in French and English.
• Proficient in English for communication with Canadian clients and colleagues outside Quebec.
• Capability to produce high-quality professional documents and presentations in English.
