This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more countries.
• Support clients in researching, planning, and reserving cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, transportation, and other travel services.
• Assess client needs, preferences, destination interests, budgets, travel styles, and expectations.
• Investigate destinations and compare travel options, pricing, availability, supplier choices, promotions, travel requirements, and vacation experiences.
• Oversee reservations from the initial inquiry to the completion of travel.
• Track payment deadlines and ensure accurate reservation data is maintained.
• Address client inquiries and assist with modifications to reservations.
• Engage with clients before, during, and after the booking process.
• Respond to inquiries professionally through phone, email, text, social media, and online platforms.
• Keep organized records of client interactions, quotations, reservations, follow-up activities, booking details, payment deadlines, and outstanding requests.
• Foster long-lasting client relationships to encourage repeat business, referrals, future bookings, and client loyalty.
• Cultivate new client relationships, follow up on leads, and maintain a pipeline of potential business.
• Discuss travel options, recommend products, offer upgrades, identify additional travel opportunities, and assist clients in planning future vacations.
• Prospect for clients, market services, retain existing clients, and drive travel sales.
• Establish a professional presence and utilize Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital channels for relationship-based marketing.
• Promote destinations, cruises, resorts, vacation packages, group travel, and other travel opportunities.
• Participate in company and industry training and become familiar with approved supplier systems, booking platforms, reservation tools, and training resources.
• Continue to enhance knowledge of destinations, travel products, promotions, booking procedures, industry updates, travel requirements, and supplier policies.
• Manage time effectively, work independently, follow up consistently, and take ownership of business development.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working independently while managing multiple tasks.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Reliable internet access.
• Ability to utilize online systems, supplier systems, reservation platforms, booking tools, training systems, and online communication channels.
• Capacity to manage time efficiently and maintain ongoing communication with clients.
• Eagerness to learn about the travel industry, sales, marketing, and reservation systems.
• Willingness to complete training related to the company, suppliers, destinations, and industry.
• Professional, reliable, organized, coachable, and motivated.
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, reservations, marketing, social media, business development, travel, or client relationship management is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Approximately 15 hours each week dedicated to developing and operating the travel business.
• Must maintain accurate and organized records for clients and reservations.
