Specialist Solution Architect – App Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assists the account team in achieving the Technical Win as the Subject Matter Expert for OpenShift and AppServices.

• Responsible for outlining and delivering in-depth presentations, tailored demos, workshops, and Proofs of Concept (POCs), in addition to addressing product inquiries for written proposals such as Requests for Proposals.

• Offers extensive product and solution expertise alongside pre-sales support for OpenShift and Application Services.

• Aids in formulating technical strategies for significant or strategic opportunities.

• Acts as a technical liaison to their respective Product Business Units.

• Contributes to the development and upkeep of reusable technical sales materials.

• Establishes trust as an adviser within Red Hat's customer network; fosters strong, enduring relationships with clients, particularly in the Financial Services and Insurance sectors.

• Provides pre-sales technical support for the design and execution of complex solutions.

• Collaborates with product teams to comprehend and influence technical roadmaps and recommended practices.

• Engages with partner ecosystems to enhance the customer value proposition.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in sales engineering, consulting, IT architecture, or a similar role supporting enterprise accounts.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and documentation abilities.

• Capability to analyze customer business challenges and technical issues and articulate how a Red Hat solution can address these challenges, requirements, and business opportunities effectively.

• Profound knowledge of OpenShift & Application Services products or a strong familiarity with Red Hat-related offerings.

• Understanding of Developer Productivity tools, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools, and Platform Engineering concepts.

• Background in Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions.
