This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ SQC activities involve the identification of appropriate documentation for data collection.
β’ Gather information within the system or specified area.
β’ Execute embedded rules and logic on the data received.
β’ Resolve validations and apply exceptions when necessary.
β’ Conduct servicing QC reviews at the client's or counterpart's business location.
β’ Examine loan packages, servicing guidelines, or data files.
β’ Carry out QC reviews for colleagues.
β’ Justify audit findings during client-facing phone discussions.
β’ Extract required information from documentation in the specified location.
β’ A minimum of three years of relevant servicing experience is preferred.
β’ A college degree or training in Finance or mortgage banking is desired, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ Entry-level support staff with 0-2 years of pertinent experience are welcome.
β’ Exceptional PC skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft products.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of Residential Mortgage Servicing practices, rules, and guidelines.
β’ Familiarity with the principles and compliance regulations related to mortgage servicing documentation.
β’ Awareness of fraudulent red flags and external services used to detect or verify fraud.
β’ Capability to read and assess payment histories and servicing comments.
