Specialist I, SQC Audit Setup

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• SQC activities involve the identification of appropriate documentation for data collection.

• Gather information within the system or specified area.

• Execute embedded rules and logic on the data received.

• Resolve validations and apply exceptions when necessary.

• Conduct servicing QC reviews at the client's or counterpart's business location.

• Examine loan packages, servicing guidelines, or data files.

• Carry out QC reviews for colleagues.

• Justify audit findings during client-facing phone discussions.

• Extract required information from documentation in the specified location.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of relevant servicing experience is preferred.

• A college degree or training in Finance or mortgage banking is desired, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Entry-level support staff with 0-2 years of pertinent experience are welcome.

• Exceptional PC skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft products.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Residential Mortgage Servicing practices, rules, and guidelines.

• Familiarity with the principles and compliance regulations related to mortgage servicing documentation.

• Awareness of fraudulent red flags and external services used to detect or verify fraud.

• Capability to read and assess payment histories and servicing comments.
