Specialist, Group FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Support business operations from daily activities to medium- to long-term business transformation and ERP renewal from a Finance perspective, playing a role in enhancing decision-making quality through numbers.

• Promote the enhancement of Finance business processes and data utilization, focusing on cost and profitability management in the manufacturing domain.

• Act as a representative of the Finance department to connect stakeholders in transforming business processes centered around ERP (SAP), with an expectation to establish changes in the field.

• Understand, improve, and support the establishment of operational processes within the management accounting domain.

• Conduct data analysis and provide insights regarding cost and profitability in the manufacturing and production areas.

• Participate in organizing issues and discussing improvement themes in collaboration with related departments (Manufacturing, SCM, Finance, IT, etc.).

• Engage in activities related to improving, advancing, and renewing business processes using ERP (SAP, etc.).

• Act in a key user capacity within the Finance department, coordinating and supporting stakeholders during business and system changes.

• Facilitate communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in cost management, management accounting, or related Finance functions in the manufacturing industry.

• Experience in analysis and reporting using numerical data, and its application to business improvements.

• Practical experience in promoting business operations while collaborating with multiple departments.

• Basic knowledge and understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing accounting.

• Skills in data aggregation, analysis, and visualization using tools such as Excel.

• Ability to view business processes from a broader perspective, organize issues, and lead improvements.

• Capacity to understand the positions of stakeholders and effectively communicate and coordinate with them.

• Strong execution ability to proactively drive business initiatives.

• Experience in business operations using ERP (SAP, etc.) or participation in system implementation and improvement projects.
