This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Act as the technical leader and principal engineer for the Agentic Engineering Hub, a platform that facilitates AI-driven SDLC automation across approximately 50 repositories and over 7 product teams.
• Advance the Hub from a prototype stage to a version 1.0 release, incorporating governance, observability/KPI dashboards, cost analytics, and error recovery patterns.
• Enhance AI agent workflows, focusing on prompt engineering, tool-use policies, iteration budgets, and timeouts.
• Design and create security and quality agents at scale, including vulnerability remediation, test coverage enhancement, and standardization of practices across repositories.
• Set up and manage an Azure sandbox for GenAI prototyping, establishing a clear process for promoting prototypes to production.
• Develop AI adoption playbooks and mentor teams on utilizing the Hub, adhering to good repository practices, and reviewing agent-generated pull requests.
• Collaborate regularly with product leaders, engineering managers, and the platform architect, engaging in cross-functional teamwork.
• Extensive production software engineering experience at a senior or staff level.
• Expertise in Agentic AI development, including autonomous agents with tool use, prompt engineering, iteration/retry strategies, and cost/token optimization.
• Proficient in CI/CD and GitHub Actions (workflows, composite actions, cross-repository automation).
• Familiarity with at least two of the following technology stacks: .NET (C#, GraphQL, EF Core, xUnit), Angular/TypeScript (RxJS, NgRx, i18n), Python/PySpark/Databricks (medallion, Delta Lake), IaC (Bicep, Terraform).
• Understanding of Azure fundamentals (subscriptions, resource groups, RBAC, Key Vault).
• Experience with Git at scale, including branching strategies, conventional commits, and multi-repository workflows.
• Proficient in English.
• Previous experience as a Staff Engineer or Principal Engineer with cross-team influence is preferred.
• Familiarity with Claude Code/Anthropic API, GitHub Copilot, or tool-use frameworks (OpenAI function calling, LangChain) is preferred.
• Experience in building developer productivity platforms (internal developer platforms, CI/CD as a product) is preferred.
• Knowledge of security automation at scale (Dependabot, CodeQL, Trivy, container scanning) is preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial IoT is preferred.
