Specialist Developer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance backend solutions within the Corporate Financial Management sector, ensuring maximum availability, performance, and security.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient microservices in AWS cloud environments utilizing contemporary architectural patterns.

• Collaborate within a hybrid squad consisting of individuals and semi-autonomous AI agents, working alongside multidisciplinary teams.

• Create both synchronous and asynchronous integrations by leveraging AWS services.

• Contribute to the design of generative AI solutions, including the development and orchestration of autonomous AI agents.

• Employ Spec-Driven Development (SDD), Skills definition, and Progressive Disclosure in the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions.

• Maintain code quality through thorough testing, code reviews, and adherence to software engineering best practices.

• Mentor fellow developers and promote backend development best practices that utilize agentic AI.

• Continuously assess and enhance application observability and performance in a production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java, encompassing best practices, design patterns, and object-oriented programming principles.

• Solid experience with microservices architecture and the development of RESTful APIs.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS services.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and AWS integration libraries.

• Experience with synchronous and asynchronous communication, messaging, and event-driven architectures.

• Background in software development involving AI, including the creation and orchestration of AI agents.

• Practical understanding of SDD (Spec-Driven Development), Progressive Disclosure, Skills, and Harness Engineering in agentic generative AI solutions.

• Practical experience with BMAD, OpenSpec, Spec Kit, and LangGraph.

• Experience integrating with MCPs.

• Knowledge of various AI models and strategies for efficient token/ACU consumption.

• Effective teaching skills for disseminating generative AI knowledge.

• Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub, including pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative version control.

• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, DEVIN, Claude Code, or Cursor AI.

• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and CI/CD methodologies.

• A minimum of 5 years of backend development experience using Java.

• Nice to have: experience with generative AI in production, background in financial institutions/fintechs or corporate (PJ) products, AWS/Java/cloud certifications, and certifications in generative AI.
