This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Evaluate and comprehend the specific needs of an injured individual, utilizing your clinical and professional expertise to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Actively oversee a caseload of rehabilitation clients or those requiring intricate care, managing the process from referral and assessment to case closure within a designated geographical area.
• Direct, coordinate, and advance multi-disciplinary interventions with the client at the forefront of the process.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including solicitors and insurers, to secure funding for private and supplementary interventions that may not be accessible through standard statutory services.
• Take responsibility for assessing and creating rehabilitation or care packages for clients with stakeholder consent or funding.
• Maintain regular communication with the rehabilitation client, case stakeholders, and clinicians, ensuring that all case records are precise and current.
• Accurately request, approve, and manage funds earmarked for rehabilitation or care for each case, reviewing and processing treatment invoices while monitoring overall case expenditures.
• At least five years of clinical experience in the domain of neurological and complex orthopedic rehabilitation, including spinal cord injury.
• A foundational understanding of rehabilitation or complex care funding post-injury, encompassing CHC funding, private funding, insurer funding, or post-settlement funding agreements.
• Familiarity with GDPR, Safeguarding, and Capacity regulations.
• A qualification in nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or another relevant clinical field.
• Current HCPC, NMC, or other professional registration.
• Desirable: Active registration with CMSUK, IRCM, BABICM, or other related sector registrations.
