Senior Manager, Data Management – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the Data Management (DM) function in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Accountable for the efficient planning, implementation, and execution of DM contracted activities.

• Provides guidance on data management projects, facilitating communication between departments and clients.

• Assists the Head of Department with functional training, recruitment, standard definition, and achieving departmental objectives.

• Serves as the main point of contact for internal teams and sponsors, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

• Manages, directs, leads, develops, and supervises data management personnel.

• Evaluates RFPs, proposals, and associated project estimates.

• Oversees data entry processes for projects and ensures compliance with project timelines.

• Responsible for maintaining data quality and ensuring that DM deliverables meet business objectives and timelines.

• Ensures the completeness of data management documentation for the Trial Master File.

• May coordinate with third-party vendors to support timelines and data-related deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of DM experience and 3 years in a line management role.

• Bachelor’s degree with direct clinical trial experience in a CRO or Pharmaceutical setting.

• Prior experience managing personnel within a scientific or clinical environment is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

• Capable of handling a range of clinical research tasks.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

• Professional proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.

• Experience with various clinical database management systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of drug, device, and/or biologic development, along with effective data management practices.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
