This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Delivers technical knowledge through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and the installation and maintenance of company offerings.

• Aids the sales team in evaluating potential uses of company products to fulfill customer needs and in preparing thorough product specifications for the development and execution of customer applications/solutions.

• May construct a mini-application based on client specifications to showcase the feasibility of the application, often necessitating rapid prototyping and/or product demonstrations for clients.

• May offer software development services and consulting to potential users and/or conduct assessments and validation of product capabilities.

• Ensures that the product application/solution operates according to established specifications.

• May provide ongoing support to company sales personnel and customer representatives by sharing technical information regarding specific applications.

• Matches here if roles involve delivering both pre-sales and post-sales technical support, engaging with customers from the time before the sale, through to delivery and installation.

• Executes and documents technical engagements, as outlined by the customer’s Success Plan initiatives, that promote the adoption and growth in the use of Red Hat products.

• Reviews the customer's environment and applications to ensure they are architected effectively in line with Red Hat product best practices.

• Identifies and compiles technical adoption barriers encountered across various customers and their solutions into common patterns and sales play resources.

• Acts as the Voice of the Customer by sharing insights and best practices while collaborating with product leaders to eliminate technical obstacles to adoption.

• Demonstrates curiosity and proactivity, staying updated on Red Hat’s ecosystem and technology advancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to lead and conduct consultative customer-facing engagements.

• Experience and practical knowledge of DevOps/Automation tools such as Ansible, CI Tools, Git, Python (or other relevant experience).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the capacity to convey complex information to customers in a clear and concise manner.

• Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.

• Experience in defining and collecting goals, requirements, and determining outcomes that can be utilized to plan collaborative work with customers to ultimately achieve desired outcomes.

• Willingness to travel within the region, visiting customers and partners, and attending conferences and other events.

• Extensive experience and thorough understanding of DevOps/Automation tools such as Ansible, CI Tools, Git, Python (or other relevant experience).

• Proficiency in scripting and coding, particularly in Python.

• Expert-level hands-on experience with AAP.

• High-level familiarity with tools like Chef, Puppet, Salt, and others in the field.

• Significant technical experience in at least one major IT domain, such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions.

• Experience with Linux-based workloads.

• Knowledge of continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.

• Proficiency in network technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, and Checkpoint.

• Experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployments.

• Familiarity with public cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud.

• Experience with managing Windows-based environments.

• Understanding of InfoSec / Security Operations.
