📋 Description

• The Speaker Booking Specialist will play a pivotal role in researching, reaching out, and securing bookings for editorial speakers at our events, which typically feature prominent authors, business leaders, activists, and academics.

• Primary responsibilities will include monitoring progress towards booking objectives, pitching prospective speakers, updating and managing contact systems, and overseeing the preparation process.

• Candidates should possess the capability to engage in dialogue and convey enthusiasm, passion, and excitement while securing engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a 4-year college/university degree is required for this position. Candidates should present a robust academic background alongside at least 2 years of full-time, professional experience post-graduation.

• Experience in a booking role is essential, such as booking for an academic speaker series; securing guests for television, radio, or podcasts; organizing bookstore readings; business conferences; or similar events.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms is advantageous.
