Spanish Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct lessons aligning with Berlitz teaching principles, emphasizing the goals, needs, and interests of students.

• Perform level assessments and needs analyses as directed by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist.

• Engage with individual and group students at the Learning Center, at various offsite locations, or virtually, as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager.

• Regularly meet with the Academic Specialist to engage in lesson evaluation and coaching plans to enhance teaching skills and ensure SMART goals are achieved.

• Complete assigned training and professional development modules on the @Berlitz Learning website and/or through face-to-face sessions organized by the Academic Specialist.

• Maintain up-to-date pedagogical and attendance records for students.

• Incorporate learning technologies into teaching programs and manage shared teaching resources.

• Execute additional responsibilities as deemed necessary and assigned by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

• A four-year college/university degree or equivalent is required.

• Proficient in the language(s) to be taught.

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Flexibility in working hours is essential.

• Ability to take initiative and work independently is required.

• Teaching experience with elementary school children is preferred.

• Availability during daytime hours is necessary.
