Space Crypto Solution Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Management of suppliers and subcontractors from a technical and programmatic perspective, serving as the primary point of contact within the organization.

• Coordination and support for both internal and external development of the cryptosystem across one or more projects.

• Providing cross-project assistance during the bidding and implementation phases for multiple projects.

• Proactively coordinating and mediating solutions for overlapping requirements in multi-project management.

• Assisting with crypto accreditation activities.

• Ensuring close technical and programmatic collaboration between the Airbus sites located in Bremen and Friedrichshafen.

• Supporting integrated national space mission project teams.

• Contributing to operational activities and the transformation plan aimed at delivering high-performance ground-space mission solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed university degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, industrial engineering, or a related field.

• Several years of professional experience in technical project management, supplier management, or at the interface of systems engineering and IT security.

• A theoretical or practical background in cryptography and network security.

• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.

• A passion for managing external partners.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.

• Proficiency in both German and English.

• Experience in space systems engineering, including projects with ESA.

• Knowledge of cryptographic protocols, ECSS standards, or CCSDS space protocols.

• Experience with classified projects (VS material) and managing technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with accreditation processes such as BSI IT-Grundschutz, DEUmilSAA, Common Criteria, or ISO 27001.

• Proficiency in French is an advantage.
