Sourcing Manager – Procurement, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development and implementation of sourcing projects with varying levels of complexity.

• Carry out sourcing projects, ranging from straightforward to intricate, from initiation to completion.

• Confirm sourcing requests in alignment with client specifications.

• Evaluate requirements for bid packages and engage with client requesters to address any data deficiencies.

• Prepare and distribute bid packages to selected suppliers.

• Follow up with suppliers to guarantee sufficient participation.

• Analyze and summarize proposals received.

• Coordinate supplier evaluations and aid in the decision-making process.

• Provide RFP, RFI, and RFQ sourcing services according to established service levels.

• Simultaneously manage 7-12 straightforward and/or intermediate projects.

• Assist colleagues with RFx development, NDA management, spend data analysis, and proposal summarization.

• Conduct due diligence and validation, gather missing project information, and address process-related inquiries.

• Adhere to category strategy cards and Intellectual Capital guidelines concerning suppliers and the collection of quotes/proposals.

• Research and identify potential suppliers.

• Present clear and concise proposal summaries to clients.

• Engage in peer reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with Procurement methodology and client-specific requirements.

• Assist in spend analysis, supplier performance management, and contract administration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operational, procurement, sourcing, or service desk management.

• High proficiency in German (C1-C2) and English (C1-C2).

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Familiarity with at least one to three categories, including pricing structures, terminology, bidding sheet development expertise, cost structure, and key vendors.

• Capability to create communications ready for clients.

• Ability to independently apply a systematic problem-solving approach.
