This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.
• Collaborate closely with the Account Executive to gain a comprehensive understanding of the prospect’s cloud environment, FinOps maturity, cost management challenges, and operational objectives through detailed technical discovery sessions involving engineering, finance, and platform teams.
• Take ownership of the technical validation and Proof of Value (POV) exercises for DoiT Cloud Intelligence, which includes preparing for POVs, proactive management, and ensuring successful technical outcomes that clearly illustrate value and alignment with prospect needs.
• Create and present engaging, customized demonstrations of DCI in both Thai and English, highlighting cloud cost visibility, optimization insights, and operational intelligence within complex multi-cloud environments.
• Utilize your knowledge of cloud economics and FinOps to construct business cases and ROI analyses that effectively communicate the financial and operational benefits of adopting DCI for both engineering and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with AWS field teams and local partners on co-selling initiatives, partner-sourced pipelines, and accelerator programs — including GenAI, Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), and Well-Architected Framework Review (WAFR) engagements. Support go-to-market initiatives that transform partner relationships into qualified opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted cloud engineer, designing and implementing enhancements in cost efficiency, resilience, security posture, and operational automation. Lead structured technical engagements such as optimization sessions, reliability and security reviews, architecture deep dives, migration assessments, and Well-Architected assessments.
• Establish yourself as the primary expert for DoiT Cloud Intelligence in the region: build analytics and cost allocation views, identify cost and risk opportunities, write Composer queries, create CloudFlow automations, and integrate DCI into customer observability, governance, and CI/CD workflows.
• Aid technical engagements with MSPs, PE firms, and SIs by showcasing how DCI provides portfolio-level visibility, operational insights across various cloud environments, and scalable optimization strategies.
• Assume full responsibility for the technical success of DCI engagements — guiding prospects through evaluations, addressing technical requirements, and instilling confidence in the platform’s capacity to enhance cloud efficiency and operational insights.
• Transform fieldwork into reusable assets: playbooks, Terraform modules, automations, architecture diagrams, internal tools, and documented patterns. Produce external technical content such as webinars, workshops, and customer enablement sessions in Thai.
• Represent DoiT and DCI at local and regional events, AWS events, webinars, and industry conferences, delivering captivating presentations and demonstrations.
• Distill customer pain points, partner requirements, and feature gaps into structured, technically credible feedback for Product and Engineering, influencing the evolution of the Cloud Intelligence platform. Advocate for the voice of the Thai and APAC technical customers in roadmap discussions.
• Ensure timely data entry into internal business support systems and contribute to tools and metrics that highlight business performance and effectiveness.
• Native-level fluency in Thai (both spoken and written) with professional proficiency in English.
• Over 5 years of practical experience in designing, deploying, and managing production workloads on AWS (experience with GCP or Azure is highly desirable), with the capability to reason across compute, storage, networking, IAM, and observability.
• Background in a customer-facing technical role — Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales Engineering, or Field/Forward Deployed Engineering — selling or delivering solutions to enterprise and mid-market accounts.
• Expertise in at least one technical domain: cloud infrastructure, data & analytics, or ML/GenAI.
• Practical knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost management: the ability to convey cost-versus-performance-versus-reliability tradeoffs to both technical and financial leadership stakeholders.
• Experience with observability: monitoring, logging, and alerting, along with familiarity with tools such as Datadog, New Relic, ServiceNow, and cloud-native equivalents.
• An automation-oriented mindset with coding or scripting skills, plus hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong data analysis capabilities and comfort working with large datasets and spreadsheets to discern trends, outliers, correlations, and reconciliation needs.
• Ability to simplify complex technological concepts for easy understanding.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive-level prospects and clients.
• Comfort in a metric-driven environment, reporting on and enhancing business performance relative to monthly KPIs.
• Experience working within an account-team framework across multiple functions (AE, CSM, AM, TAM) and time zones.
• Intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to continuous improvement.
• Unlimited Vacation
• Flexible Working Options
• Health Insurance
• Parental Leave
• Employee Stock Option Plan
• Home Office Allowance
