This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Collaborate closely with the Account Executive to gain a comprehensive understanding of the prospect’s cloud environment, FinOps maturity, cost management challenges, and operational objectives through detailed technical discovery sessions involving engineering, finance, and platform teams.
• Take ownership of technical validation and Proof of Value (POV) initiatives for DoiT Cloud Intelligence, which includes POV preparation, proactive management, and ensuring successful technical outcomes that demonstrate clear value aligned with prospect requirements.
• Create and present engaging, customized demonstrations of DCI in both Thai and English, highlighting cloud cost visibility, optimization insights, and operational intelligence within complex multi-cloud environments.
• Utilize your expertise in cloud economics and FinOps to formulate business cases and ROI analyses that clearly express the financial and operational implications of adopting DCI for both engineering and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with AWS field teams and local partners on co-selling strategies, partner-sourced pipeline initiatives, and accelerator programs — including GenAI, Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), and Well-Architected Framework Review (WAFR) engagements. Support go-to-market initiatives that transform partner relationships into qualified opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted cloud engineer responsible for designing and implementing enhancements in cost efficiency, resilience, security posture, and operational automation. Lead structured technical engagements such as optimization sessions, reliability and security reviews, architecture deep dives, migration assessments, and Well-Architected style assessments.
• Establish yourself as the primary expert for DoiT Cloud Intelligence in the region: develop analytics and cost allocation views, identify cost and risk opportunities, write Composer queries, create CloudFlow automations, and integrate DCI into customer observability, governance, and CI/CD workflows.
• Facilitate technical engagements with MSPs, PE firms, and SIs by demonstrating how DCI enables portfolio-level visibility, operational insights across various cloud environments, and scalable optimization strategies.
• Assume full responsibility for securing technical wins for DCI engagements — guiding prospects through the evaluation process, fulfilling technical requirements, and instilling confidence in the platform’s capabilities to enhance cloud efficiency and operational insights.
• Transform fieldwork into reusable assets: playbooks, Terraform modules, automations, architecture diagrams, internal tools, and documented patterns. Develop external-facing technical content such as webinars, workshops, and customer enablement sessions in Thai.
• Represent DoiT and DCI at local and regional events, AWS events, webinars, and industry conferences, delivering captivating presentations and demonstrations.
• Translate customer pain points, partner requirements, and feature gaps into structured, technically credible feedback for Product and Engineering, assisting in the evolution of the Cloud Intelligence platform. Advocate for the voice of the Thai and APAC technical customers in roadmap discussions.
• Ensure timely input of data into internal business support systems and contribute to the development of tools and metrics that showcase business performance and effectiveness.
• Native-level proficiency in Thai (both spoken and written) alongside professional working proficiency in English.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing production workloads on AWS (experience with GCP or Azure is a significant advantage), with the ability to reason across compute, storage, networking, IAM, and observability.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role — Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales Engineering, or Field/Forward Deployed Engineering — selling or delivering to enterprise and mid-market accounts.
• Expertise in at least one technical area: cloud infrastructure, data & analytics, or ML/GenAI.
• Practical judgment in FinOps and cloud cost management: the capacity to explain cost-versus-performance-versus-reliability trade-offs to both engineers and finance/leadership stakeholders.
• Practical observability experience: monitoring, logging, and alerting, along with familiarity with tools in the ecosystem such as Datadog, New Relic, ServiceNow, and cloud-native equivalents.
• An automation mindset with coding or scripting capability, plus hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD tools.
• Strong data analysis skills and the ability to navigate large datasets and spreadsheets to identify trends, outliers, correlations, and reconciliation needs.
• The ability to distill complex technological concepts into simple, comprehensible explanations.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive-level prospects and customers.
• Comfort in a metric-driven environment, reporting on and enhancing business performance against monthly KPIs.
• Experience working in an account-team model across multiple functions (AE, CSM, AM, TAM) and time zones.
• Intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Unlimited Vacation
• Flexible Working Options
• Health Insurance
• Parental Leave
• Employee Stock Option Plan
• Home Office Allowance
• Professional Development Stipend
