This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Act as Matrix's Principal Developer and serve as the senior technical authority.
• Define and uphold the enterprise technical vision, application governance, development standards, reference architectures, and management of platform lifecycles.
• Oversee the secure software development lifecycle for various simultaneous projects, from discovery and requirements gathering to retirement.
• Design secure and scalable enterprise solutions, including portals, automated workflows, custom applications, forms, dashboards, and resource management tools.
• Lead cloud-native application development, integration, data architecture, and DevSecOps initiatives across Microsoft Azure and associated platforms.
• Manage low-code, collaboration, analytics, and decision-support solutions utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Power BI, Palantir, Jira, and Confluence.
• Develop data architecture and integration patterns for SQL Server, REST APIs, and interconnected systems.
• Integrate cybersecurity measures throughout the SSDLC, conduct application security reviews, implement Zero Trust principles, and manage identity and access protocols along with compliance practices.
• Assess and introduce AI-assisted development tools and secure AI-enabled business solutions.
• Identify modernization prospects and formulate technical strategies, roadmaps, statements of work, estimates, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Enhance process improvement and business process reengineering through mapping processes, collecting data, analysis, visualization, and developing digital solutions.
• Assist in proposal development by providing technical content.
• Facilitate project execution through budgeting, scheduling, team organization, prioritization, quality assurance, invoicing, reporting, technical documentation, and presentations.
• Engage with clients to present results, address issues, respond to inquiries, and uphold relationships.
• Coordinate virtual and in-person stakeholder engagements.
• Build, mentor, and support development teams and communities of practice.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews, troubleshooting, training, and provide product guidance.
• Offer technical direction and daily leadership to developers and multidisciplinary delivery teams; supervise as required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in software or application development.
• Proven technical leadership of development teams and project delivery from requirements and architecture to deployment and ongoing support.
• Experience working with or for the Department of War or another federal agency.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and successful completion of the Company's MVR screening.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipeline development, C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, and Python.
• Proficiency in modern application development frameworks, integration patterns, APIs, front-end and back-end development technologies, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, enterprise data architecture, REST APIs, systems integration, data governance, and decision-support data structures.
• Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, SharePoint Online, Power BI, Palantir Foundry/AIP, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence or similar platforms.
• Experience in designing enterprise architecture solutions that cater to over 100 users and various business functions.
• Knowledge of SSDLC, application security review, Zero Trust, identity and access management, and CUI protection practices.
• Understanding of NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, and DFARS 252.204-7012 requirements.
• Experience in evaluating AI-assisted development tools and developing secure AI-enabled business solutions.
• Proficiency in Agile delivery methods, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong skills in facilitation, organizational management, technical writing, and presentations.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and other Matrix offices.
