This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Act as the main technical advisor for SMB sales initiatives, collaborating with Account Executives throughout the sales process.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions with IT administrators, security leaders, developers, DevOps teams, and CISOs.
• Showcase and position Endpoint Privilege Management, SaaS Manager, and Device Trust as a cohesive solution.
• Execute proof-of-value engagements to validate customer success metrics across developer environments, cloud-native workloads, automation, and AI workflows.
• Assist customers in evaluating solutions in competitive scenarios involving PAM vendors, secrets management tools, and SaaS security platforms.
• Address security questionnaires, compliance inquiries, RFPs/RFIs, and other technical documentation requirements.
• Work in conjunction with Sales Enablement, Product, Marketing, Support, and Customer Experience to enhance demos, playbooks, enablement materials, and customer-facing education.
• Collaborate with Account Executives during rapid sales cycles, linking customer requirements to solutions across identity, applications, endpoints, and secrets automation.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a technical, customer-facing position, preferably in B2B SaaS or a related field.
• Proficient in articulating technical concepts clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent presentation, storytelling, and discovery abilities.
• Capability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple responsibilities, and uphold quality in a dynamic, high-volume sales environment.
• Demonstrated curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote-first team.
• Preferred: familiarity with security and identity concepts, including credential management, privileged access, secrets management, SSO, SCIM, or OAuth/OIDC.
• Preferred: understanding of developer and DevSecOps workflows, including CI/CD, containers, cloud infrastructure, service accounts, and API credentials.
• Knowledge of tools such as HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure is advantageous.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada; 1Password will not provide work authorization, relocation assistance, or visa sponsorship/transferring.
• Successful candidates must complete a background check.
