Solutions Engineer – SLED

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, develop, and showcase Smartsheet solutions that address specific customer challenges.

• Lead technical sales discussions, working closely with sales teams to determine customer needs, summarize issues, design solutions, and offer technical expertise that illustrates the value of Smartsheet's products.

• Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover business processes and challenges, guiding the sales and solution delivery approach.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive revenue growth.

• Enhance and uphold knowledge of all Smartsheet products, services, and competitive landscape.

• Engage in cross-functional and department-wide initiatives that support strategic objectives.

• Provide constructive feedback to Product teams to ensure our solutions align with customer needs.

• Occasionally travel to customer locations as a technical subject matter expert.

• Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a PreSales Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Solution Architect, or in a related role within the SaaS and enterprise B2B software sectors.

• Strong critical thinking abilities, a growth-oriented mindset, and experience in analyzing, evaluating, and synthesizing complex issues.

• Robust technical skills and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous and high-pressure environments.

• Outstanding communication and presentation capabilities, with the skill to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
